My son appreciated the few minutes spent on Mondays asking how their weekends were. This personal touch really made him feel comfortable and seen. My son often commented on how interesting the classes were and he liked the way Mr. Gay presented the information with a personal and often humorous touch. Sujeil Rodriguez

Project Assistant

Sujeil learned about Waldorf Education via a book she read.  She fell in love with how it incorporates nature, the hands-on learning and the child not being rushed.  Once she had a child, she knew Waldorf was the way.

Sujeil graduated from University of Central Florida with major in Political Science and minor in Business.  She worked in the corporate world until she had her son Lucas when she took a step back to become a full-time mom.  Her son has been homeschooled with the Waldorf approach since the very beginning.

Aside from being a mom her passion is learning about alternative healing and recently received certification as an Herbalist.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and child during the weekends and visiting new places.  She has also become “the plant lady”  😊 growing her  own vegetables, fruits, fruits and herbs.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN TEACHING FOR LOTUS & IVY?

Our teachers share our values and have a desire to bring Waldorf-inspired education to homeschool students. We are currently hiring experienced Waldorf-trained teachers.

Our teachers may live anywhere in the world; however, they must have a high-speed internet connection and be available to teach, in English, at the times of our classes. Our teachers are part-time, spending an average of 10 hours a week on lesson planning, teaching, and supporting parents in their class of 12 students. Our pay is very competitive. Our directors support our teachers every step of the way.

If this sounds interesting to you, please submit your resume to lotusandivyvirtualclasses@gmail.com to initiate the interview process.
